Pan European central operating model enters next stage to enhance market focus, flexibility and efficiency

 

Sharp Electronics Europe, a subsidiary of Sharp Corporation, announced the next stage of turning around its operations in Europe. "The objective of this change is to continue building the new European organisation with its recently appointed European management team. We aim at returning the company to long term, sustainable profitability and growth in Europe.” Paul Molyneux, CEO of Sharp Europe, today said in Hamburg.

Hamburg, 17 March 2011 - Sharp Corporation would like to express deepest sympathy to all the people afflicted by this earthquake. We would like to inform to all the people who are concerned about our situation, that there are no extensive damages to our buildings or production facilities in Japan including our plant located in Yaita-city, Tochigi Prefecture.
Our LCD panel production facilities located in Sakai-city, Kameyama-city, Taki-cho, and Tenri-city are continuing normal operation.
